You are free to use these images, provided you mention the source of them as follows: "Propriety KM3NeT Consortium".- Detection Units Two different concepts for a detection unit for KM3NeT have been worked out during the Design Study: one with horizontal extensions with several optical modules at each storey, the other with a single optical module per storey. The concept of horizontal extents has been worked out in two implementations: with horizontal bars and with a ring at which the optical modules are positioned in a triangle. In the Preparatory Phase these two concepts are now being merged in a single concept.
