24 February 2016 – This week, researchers of the ANTARES and KM3NeT Collaborations meet at the Erlangen Centre for Astroparticle Physics (ECAP) of the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) in Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany. They are together to discuss during a full week, the recent results obtained from the ANTARES data, the progress with the construction of the ARCA and ORCA detectors, the analyses of the data recorded with the first detector unit of KM3NeT, simulation studies, software developments, papers to be published, and ideas for the future. The meeting is hosted by the ANTARES/KM3NeT research group of ECAP, that is coordinating the off-line computing and software developments for KM3NeT and contributes to the testing of photo-multiplier tubes and assembly of optical modules. Students of FAU contribute to the analyses and simulation studies for both ANTARES and KM3NeT.
