The light sensor module of KM3NeT is a custom designed and build module. It is different from the optical modules in other neutrino telescope, because it comprises in total 31 small (3 inch diameter) photomultiplier tubes. In the album pictures showing details of the design of the module, the qualification models, the integration of the DOMs with the backbone cable thus forming a detection unit and a picture of a DOM in the deep sea at a depth of 3500 m.
